A quick render I did today in Vue 9 Infinite, just for a bit of fun really. Really like the blue of the sky and the contrast with the clouds.

Not the most realistic image ever made, but I like some of its characteristics, so I shall present it.

Really enjoying working with Vue 9, It seems extremely stable on my system so far, had a single crash, and that was becuase I was rushing the program becuase I missed the loading bar at the bottom.
The Trek and Quadspinner Tutorials
Tuesday, November 9th, 2010Bought myself some Quadspinner tutorials from cornucopia and have been playing around in Vue 9 Infinite
Dax Pandhis (Quadspinners) Tutorials are absolutely excellent and extremely informative. He very clearly knows exactly what hes doing and is excellent at getting accross what he is doing, he also has a fantastic speaking voice.

Vue 8.5 Infinite
Monday, October 18th, 2010Thanks to an offer from e-on software I have been able to return the “complete” version of their software and in its place get Vue 8.5 Infinite along with a free upgrade to Vue 9 Infinite when it comes out in the coming weeks.
Since getting it this morning and having a quick play around and following a couple of tutorials at Geek at Play I came up with the following picture.
Pretty basic scene, but i’m really impressed with the improvements in the terrain editor in particular since complete 7, and amazed by the fact you can now edit the terrain with the rest of the scene visible in the editor.
Rendered in “ultra” mode at 558 by 768 in 4 minutes 30 seconds, pretty quick.
