Model now completed and UV mapped, first time I have attempted to UV map something so complex, but relatively happy with the uv map.
Going to start texturing sometime this week. All work done in lightwave 9.6
Completed the top and tail of the F16 model now.
Much work left to do on the underside, but im content to leave it without an undercarriage as thats all I require.
Model is about 21k polys so far, but is mostly quads rather than triangles so number will undoubtedly double.

Ive decided that its time to do some proper modelling, and so after getting a suggestion from Heu, have started to model an F16.
This will obviously take quite a wihle to complete, but I have finished the basic shape of the model after about 3-4 hours.
I am working from a blueprint in Lightwave 9.6.
